The Blarney Castle {Chester County Photographer}

April 22, 2013  •  1 Comment

The weather was a bit rainy with a side of rain with moments of clearing inbetween when we visited the Blarney Castle.  I climbed to the very top!!!  Considering I have the gift of gab, I didn't feel the need to kiss the Blarney Stone.  So I watched as the others did and enjoyed the views.  More to come of this fabulous iconic stop along our way.   This image was captured as we were leaving, the sky cleared for a few moments and presented some cool dark cloud cover.

Congratulations on climbing to the top. It is amazing to walk in real castles, isn't it? I remember doing so in Scotland many years ago.
Great photo. The dark skies are just right for the castle and for Ireland, where one expects rain. Good composition with rule of thirds and nicely framed.
